Methods 3: Overflow Hidden CSS Property
When you tried to design the header with Elementor, you discovered that it moved left and right on the mobile site.
You can fix it by changing the CSS divisions in the header template to overflow:hidden.
It mainly blocked the nav menu bar because the overflow property was set to hidden.
Here is how you fix it.
1. Click on any of the layout elements where you set your nav menu elementor widget.
2. Under layout selection, you will get an overflow setting.
3. Choose “hidden” as the default from the drop-down menu.
4. Don’t forget to click on the PUBLISH or UPDATE button to save the changes.
Method 4: Elementor Global Setting
Check your Elemntor’s Experiments section,
Here you have to be inactive:
- Improved Asset Loading: it mainly reduces the amount of code that is loaded on the page
- Improved CSS Loading: After active, CSS code will be loaded, but no inline or in a dedicated file.
- Inline Font Icons: It will render the icons as inline SVG without loading the Font-Awesome and the eicons libraries and its related CSS files and fonts.
***Keep in mind that activating this experiment may cause conflicts with incompatible plugins.
Follow these steps:
1. Go to Elementor > Settings > Experiments
2. Then inactive the Improved Asset Loading, Improved CSS Loading and Inline Font Icons. Like the screenshot below:
3. Do not forget to click on the Save Changes button.
Method 5: Nav Menu not visible after Publish/Updated the Elementor Page.
You can solve it generally in two ways:
1. PHP Memory Limit: Increasing the WP memory limit to meet the minimum requirements for running Elementor
Memory should be set to at least 128 MB.
Contact your website’s hosting provider and request that they increase it.
2. Conflict With Page Builder: If you are also using another page builder in combination with Elementor, that other builder may replace the content that you have created with Elementor and prevent it from displaying the changes you have made.
You can resolve this issue by first saving the template, and then adding it to a new page. Once you do that, the issue will be resolved.
Method 6: Javascript Error Fixing
Most of the time, when the navigation menu is not functioning, it is most likely because of a javascript error.
To check it in the Chrome browser,
You can right click anywhere on the site and go to Inspect.
Then click on the Console section to view the JS errors.
If your website has any javascript errors,
You will see red text in the console, which means you have some javascript error that will break the nav menu.

Method 7: Clash with theme or 3rd Party Plugin.
One of the most common reasons for the elementor nav menu not working is that elementor is not properly comfortable with your theme or another plugin.
As per our solution, we recommend that you first deactivate all plugins one by one, except Elementor and UltraAddons , and check if the nav menu page is working or not.
In that way, you get which plugin will conflict with Elementor. Then you need to reactivate the plugins one by one, except for the problem ones.
If this way doesn’t work, then it means you have some issues with the theme.
Try switching to a default theme, for example, TwentySeventeen. Check if the nav menu page is working or not.
That way, it’s not working perfectly. Contact your theme provider to solve this problem.
Methods 8: WordPress Cache Clear Plugin
Sometimes the Cache Clear plugin conflicts with other plugins.
When you want to make any kind of change by elementor, first try to use the cache clear plugin to clear all caches.
